Cork, Ireland with Goldfoot Family 1901

The 1901 census in Cork, Ireland has a Goldfoot family living at house 13 in Grand Parade (#5 Urban, South Centre, Cork, Ireland. This family was new to me and not on my list till now.

Bella Goldfoot was 47 born in Russia. She is listed as married, and not a widow, but the husband wasn't listed. Evidently he wasn't there.

The head of the family was her son, Moseley, age 22, born in Liverpool, England. He was a Medical LRCP and S J L M and was not married.

His sister was Jessie, also born in Liverpool and was 21 years old. She was an artist.

He had a young brother, Jack, 15 years old born in Dublin City and was in school.

They had two servants, Mary Gorman and Kate O'Connell, both 22 and both Roman Catholic. '

Other Goldfoots in Ireland in 1901 were found in Wood Quay, Dublin.
Many of the Goldfoots I've found in South Africa were from Ireland. My grandfather was found in the Port of Londonderry, Ireland going to Canada. Ireland has played a big part in our history.
